Mental health is a person’s condition with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being.
A mental illness is a health problem that significantly affects how a person feels, thinks, behaves, and interacts with other people. It is diagnosed according to standardised criteria. The term mental disorder is also used to refer to these health problems.
Recovery for mental health issues IS POSSIBLE. However, recovery doesn’t mean a cure, it means being able to live a fulfilling life while acknowledging and understanding the process of recovery.
Mental health recovery can include coming to terms with yours or another’s metal illness getting the right help, navigating the mental health system, maximizing your health and motivation and getting back on track with your diagnosis. Trevor can also help you with reaching your goals and returning to work.
